IMAP Netherlands is pleased to announce that it has supported HVEG Fashion Group ("HVEG" or the "Company") on the acquisition of Sassa Mode.
Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Germany, Sassa Mode specializes in the development, sourcing and sale of women's underwear and lingerie. This acquisition marks a strategic expansion for HVEG, allowing them to expand their product offerings and strengthen their presence in the German market.
HVEG, a group of internationally operating fashion companies, is renowned for its expertise in developing, sourcing, and marketing Private Label fashion products across multiple categories, including womenswear, menswear, children's clothing, baby apparel, and accessories. In addition to their Private Label business, HVEG engages in various brand activities, focusing on delivering high-quality, sustainable fashion solutions. The Company is committed to producing collections that are not only commercially viable but also sustainably manufactured. HVEG is dedicated to providing affordable fashion in an environmentally responsible manner, alleviating the challenges customers face in sourcing sustainable fashion.
The acquisition of Sassa Mode aligns with HVEG's growth strategy, enhancing its capabilities and expanding its product portfolio. This move also aims to increase HVEG's customer base within the German market, thereby reinforcing its market position. Over recent years, HVEG has expanded its focus beyond private label collections for large retailers, increasingly developing its proprietary brands, a trend that the acquisition of Sassa Mode is set to continue.
The IMAP Netherlands team, led by Jean-Luc Zeguers, Menno Huson, and Aster De Backer, was HVEG’s exclusive financial advisor on the acquisition of Sassa Mode.
