IMAP has advised the shareholders of AICHINGER GmbH, a leading specialist in shopfitting and refrigeration, on its sale to EDEKA, Germany's largest food retailer. AICHINGER will operate as a sister company of EDEKA's subsidiary, LINOVAG LADENBAU.

For over 120 years, AICHINGER has been a prominent and technologically advanced manufacturer of innovative cooling and heating systems, specializing in high-quality shopfitting solutions for renowned international food retail groups, bakeries, butchers, and restaurants. With approximately 370 employees across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, AICHINGER recently recorded total revenues of around 80 million euros.

AICHINGER is known for creating store experiences that combine shopping and enjoyment, with particular expertise in shopfitting/chiller cabinets, design, and concept development. This expertise makes AICHINGER and LINOVAG LADENBAU an ideal match, enhancing their combined portfolio and creating sustainable added value.
