Atlantic Trade doo, a unit of Atlantic Grupa dd, acquired the entire share capital of Prodis doo, a Zagreb-based distributor of food and non-food products. Prodis is a distributor of leading global fast moving consumer brands on the Slovenian and Croatian market. The company provides an integrated distribution service - logistics, sales and customer marketing. Besides Unilever, Prodis provides services to companies such as Lego, UNICEF, Hasbro, Grupo SOS.  Atlantic Grupa is one of the leading food companies in the SEE region with the renowned regional brands which is, alongside the product range of external partners, supported by own distribution system in the region. 

Prodis (the company) is a distributor of Unilever products (world's third-largest fast-moving-consumer-goods company measured by revenues) on the markets of Slovenia and Croatia. In addition, the Company is distributing worlds renown toy brands such as: Lego, Disney, Hasbro etc. and has recently started to develop its toy retail network. In 2014, with its portfolio the company achieved combined annual sales of approximately €40 million on both markets. The owners and managers of the company decided to sell Unilever’s distribution business on both markets and focus its management and financial resources on toy business, especially on further development of its toy retail operations in Croatia.

With its product range of sports food, Atlantic is the leading European player in the segment.

The Deal

Atlantic trade d.o.o. a daughter company of Atlantic group took over the distribution of Unilever brands in Croatia and Slovenia from Prodis.
