IMAP is pleased to announce that eXcellence Group B.V.(‘Data eXcellence’), a leading Dutch expert in the field of data, more specifically data migrations, has sold a majority of its shares to Alan Allman Associates.
Founded as a spinoff from a prominent data service provider in 2009,Data eXcellence has established itself as an expert and highly recognized player in the data migration market and offers additional high-end data-related services encompassing data quality, and audit & reconciliation. While catering to a diverse client basis spanning across various sectors, the company is predominantly active within the Financial sector serving large banks, insurance companies, and pension funds. Moreover, the company is active both domestically and internationally in numerous European countries. Headquartered in Nieuwegein, it has a second office in Groningen, and employs approximately 50 data experts and other personnel.
Alan Allman Associates, established in 2009 through a series of international acquisitions, is a French publicly traded ecosystem comprising international consulting firms that are specialized in assisting their clients through the digital transformation. With offices throughout Europe and North America, Alan Allman Associates’ ecosystem boasts a strong network of value-creating relationships in the high-tech consulting, industrial consulting, digital market consulting, and strategy and management consulting areas. The acquisition of Data eXcellence marks a significant expansion and its entrance into the Dutch market, laying the groundwork for yet future expansion into the Dutch Digital Consulting market.
The transaction process was pursued to secure the long-term continuity of the company, to align withvarious market trends, including consolidation and digitalization, and to better capture domestic and international growth opportunities. The Data Migration market is expected to continue to grow rapidly, supported by an ongoing trend of digitalization, mergers and acquisitions, and changing laws in, for example, the Dutch pension landscape. By acquiring Data eXcellence, Alan Allman Associates further fortifies its position in the digital consulting business by establishing a presence in the Dutch market and creating large cross-selling opportunities within the ecosystem and amongst its members. The shareholders will retain their positions with Data eXcellence following the transaction.
