Andrew joined the firm as a Strategic Advisor for the industrial sector, including specialty chemicals, materials, and diversified industries. He will assist in developing investment opportunities and in the provision of sell and buy-side transaction advisory and strategic planning services. Prior to joining FRG, Andrew worked in a variety of operations, sales, marketing, strategy, M&A, and general management roles at Meritor, Valspar / Sherwin-Williams, and Lord Corporation. He led a number of global businesses sized from $100 to $500 million making highly engineered discrete parts, paints, coatings, adhesives, and materials. He also planned for, executed, and integrated transactions on both the sell-side and buy-side while at Valspar and Lord Corporation, including the sale of the latter to Parker-Hannifin for $3.7B in 2019. His broad operating experience in growing businesses, turnarounds, and integration of acquisitions make him a practical “been there” advisor for the firm’s clients.
Andrew earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy summa cum laude from Wabash College.
