SCIO Automation GmbH, based in Frankenthal, acquired the AUTKOM group. With the support of the investment company Quadriga Capital, SCIO - seven months after the merger of the Schiller and VESCON Groups - is focusing on the further expansion of the newly founded business platform for automation technology through the acquisition of AUTKOM. Both of AUTKOM’s Managing Directors will remain operationally responsible and will continue to lead the company, while the strategic development will be supported by SCIO as the superordinate holding company.

Based in Ladenburg, AUTKOM employs around 30 people and specializes in Automation and Communication Technology, as well as Functional Safety solutions. The main customers are from the automotive industry, environmental technology and the chemical industry.
