IMAP advises Dr Zwissler Holding on the sale of Heinrich Büscher to the Italian MV Line Group

IMAP advised Dr Zwissler Holding AG on the sale of Heinrich Büscher GmbH -Sonnenschutzsysteme-, a leading manufacturer of interior sun and insect protection products, to the Italian company MV Line Group. The acquisition provides MV Line nationwide market coverage in Germany and the opportunity to sell its own insect and sun protection systems through the Büscher dealer network in Germany.

Founded in 1929 and based in Göttingen, Heinrich Büscher GmbH -Sonnenschutzsysteme- is a full-range supplier of interior and exterior privacy and sun protection systems and insect screens. The company serves a broad customer base in specialist retail, craft, e-commerce, and project business, primarily in Germany, but also increasingly in neighboring countries. Products include pleated blinds, roller blinds and vertical blinds. The sale of external sun protection products such as external venetian blinds, roller shutters and awnings as merchandise completes the product range and enables Büscher to position itself attractively as a full-range supplier.

MV Line Group is an Italian manufacturer of indoor and outdoor insect and sun protection systems. The owner-managed and fast-growing business consists of four companies and produces high-quality insect screens, awnings, pergolas, roller blinds and shutters. MV Line employs 550 people at six sites in Italy and Spain and has a turnover of around €145 million.

With this acquisition, MV Line continues its European expansion and acquires a traditional brand with a complementary product portfolio and a high level of recognition among German retailers and installers.
