Degroof Petercam – IMAP France advises SEMIIC Promotion on the sale of Circuits Automobiles LFG to Groupe PPK

IMAP is pleased to announce that Degroof Petercam – IMAP France has acted as exclusive financial advisor to SEMIIC Promotion on the sale of Circuits Automobiles LFG, the largest car racing circuit in the Île de France region, and its ancillary buildings to the Groupe PPK, a leading provider of driving and racing experiences in France and Belgium (trading under “Sprint Racing”).

Built in 2008, Circuits Automobiles LFG was designed by famous Austrian architect Franz Schreiner. Owned and managed since its inception by Group SEMIIC, the circuit is complemented by hospitality facilities and a business center hosting driving schools. These facilities are located on a 50-hectare site in the heart of Seine et Marne, less than 80km from Paris, within the Aerodrome of La Ferté-Gaucher’s mechanical leisure center.

The circuit operates three tracks-in-one, measuring 3.342 km, 1.507 km and 1.811 km respectively, dedicated to motor sports (cars, motorbikes, and karts). It was designed for sports training, and since 2009, is classified as Class 3 by the FIA (all vehicles except Formula 1) with tracks approved for speeds over 200km/h.

Created in 2002 by Mr. Rodolphe Peneau and Mr. Samuel Potencier, Groupe PPK is the leader in driving and piloting courses on exceptional GT and single-seater vehicles in France and Belgium. Each year, it welcomes more than 60,000 customers on nearly 25 automobile circuits across France and Belgium.

This transaction will enable Groupe PPK to have its own circuit for developing driving and racing services in the heart of the Île de France region.
