Degroof Petercam – IMAP France advises infrastructure fund Infranity on their investment in Groupe Initiatives et Energies Locales (IEL)

IMAP is pleased to announce that Degroof Petercam – IMAP France acted as financial advisor to infrastructure fund Infranity on their capital investment in Groupe Initiatives et Energies Locales (IEL).
Founded in 2004, IEL is the leading producer of renewable energies in Western France. It designs, builds, finances, and operates ground-mounted wind and solar farms and is also involved in the turnkey installation of rooftop solar power plants. Since its creation, IEL has adopted a purposeful local development strategy by proposing partnerships with communities and territories on their projects. IEL currently has a portfolio of 200 MW in operation and construction and a portfolio of projects under development of approximately 1.2 GW.
The long-term partnership with Infranity will enable IEL to finance the acceleration of its growth and the deployment of its portfolio of renewable energy production assets, and to benefit from the top-level financial and managerial expertise of Infranity's teams.
Moreover, this investment reinforces Infranity's role in financing the energy transition in Europe, a major infrastructure segment in which the company has been very active in since its inception.
