Avans was originally founded 35 years ago in Västerås, Sweden, where it still has its head office. The Group consist of four entities: Avans Maskintillbehör AB, Avans Linjärteknik AB, GL Maskin & Verktyg AB and German unit Hatzfeld GmbH, each with a different focus, creating a complete customer offering. Avans Maskintillbehör’s product portfolio includes bearings, seals and power transmissions, while the other units are strong in linear technology with associated products and services. The Group has a total turnover of EURO 10,5 million.

Nomo is a technical solution provider to the industry, with operations in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and China. The company was founded in 1948 and has since then developed a strong offer in bearings, transmissions, seals and related services in the Nordic market. Nomo supplies products and services to both OEM and MRO customers. The company has more than 180 employees and annual sales of approximately EURO 75 million.
