IMAP Netherlands is pleased to announce that Share Logistics, a major Dutch freight forwarder and logistics provider predominantly active in air and ocean freight, was acquired by Groupe BBL (“Groupe BBL”), a French logistical service provider.

Share Logistics, led by Jan Crezee and a team of highly experienced managers was founded in 2008 through a Management Buy Out. The company is specialized in freight forwarding, predominantly in air and ocean freight, offering a complete range of door-to-door logistics to a diverse and loyal client base including global blue-chip companies and SMEs.

Share Logistics is headquartered in Rotterdam and has 16 European offices, mostly in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and France, with 6 additional offices in North and Latin America (USA and Brazil). Share Logistics employs approximately 250 professionals with a combined group revenue close to €‎230 million.

Groupe BBL, founded in 1997, is active in four business segments: contract logistics, overseas transport, road transport & groupage and customs & compliance services. Their strategy focuses on the coordination of highly specialized and self-driven teams committed to serving their customers’ supply chain. Between 2017 and 2022, Groupe BBL’s employee base grew from 440 to 1,450 and its annual revenue rose from €‎121 million to €‎600 million, reflecting both organic growth and inorganic growth by a series of acquisitions.
