Overview

Senso d.o.o. and it's daughter company Senso Mikro d.o.o., the largest wholesale distributor of portable computers in Croatia, with subsidiaries and expansion plans in several SEE countries turned to IMAP with the idea of finding a strategic financial partner for regional expansion. After negotiations with various funds, the synergies of a domestic merger became increasingly more attractive. The management of HG Spot, the largest retail chain of consumer IT and electronics in Croatia, saw the opportunity.

The Deal

The resultant transaction between Senso Mikro and HG Spot was the largest IT merger in Croatian history, creating one of the largest IT wholesale/retail groups in the region. IMAP was the exclusive advisor to the owner of Senso, who became a 25% owner in the merged company.
