Within the scope of its European growth strategy, CRH plc (Dublin) acquired 100% of the shares of Paulsen-Group. The transaction includes the three Northern Germany based sanitary, heating and ventilation equipment wholesale businesses: Andreas Paulsen GmbH & Co. KG (Kiel, Headquarters), Dietrich F. Liedelt GmbH (Norderstedt), and Paulsen & Eckhardt GmbH (Martensdorf) as well as the belonging properties at four locations. Following the acquisition CRH will strengthen its building services unit in the German speaking countries, which already includes the Swiss “Richner Bäder and Plättli AG” acquired in the year 2000. “Richner Bäder and Plättli AG” is one of the leading wholesaler for bathroom furniture and tiles.
