Karen is one of the Founders of Advance Capital (IMAP Russia), where he is responsible for business development, as well as for deal origination in the Oil & Gas and Infrastructure sectors.

From 2009-2011 he was a Board Member (representing Gazprom Neft) of NGK Slavneft and affiliated companies. From 2004-2007 he worked as a Deputy Head of the Strategy and M&A department at Renova Group of Companies. Prior to Renova, Karen held managerial positions within Strategic M&A and Strategy departments at Yukos and RSK MiG (Russian Aircraft Corporation).
