Gilberto has experience in financial analysis and private equity funds. Knowledgeable across sectors like IT (cloud & cybersecurity), manufacturing, infrastructure, food & beverage, healthcare, and consumer goods. He began his career at Serficor IMAP as a Jr Analyst, supporting the team in M&A transactions. Later, he transitioned to become an investment analyst at Tara Capital, a search fund that acquired Octapus.io, a comprehensive platform for digital sovereignty in Latin America. Octapus.io provides cloud and cybersecurity solutions for SMEs through their digital transformation. Gilberto holds a degree in International Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana and is certified in Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute.
