IMAP Italy (Vitale & Co.) advises natural care and cosmetic company Swisscare on sale to Nahrin
Swisscare distributes cosmetics and health supplements across Italy.
IMAP is pleased to announce that Alcedo, a leading Italian PE firm, agreed to sell 100% of the company Swisscare to Nahrin. Swisscare became a portfolio company of Fund Alcedo IV in July 2016, when Alcedo purchased 55% of the company from founding shareholders Stelvio Andreis and Elvio Lonardi.
Swisscare distributes cosmetics and health supplements across Italy. Its products are made with completely natural ingredients and sold through a network of over 9,000 sales representatives located throughout Italy.
Nahrin AG, a historical and well-known Swiss company, is licensor of the Nahrin brand and is active in the natural health supplements market, with additional product lines in markets internationally.
The IMAP Italy (Vitale&Co.) team, led by Alberto Gennarini and Marco Bigogno, acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Alcedo on the sale of Swisscare.
