IMAP advises shareholders on the sale of Aqua Vital to Culligan Water

Halder Beteiligungsberatung GmbH and the other co-partners have sold Aqua Vital, the German market leader for drinking water dispensers in the commercial sector, to US-American Culligan Water. The leading international provider of water treatment solutions is a portfolio company of Advent International.

Aqua Vital, based in Neuss, has been producing and selling water dispensers since 1999 and has been a Halder subsidiary since 2013. The company provides medium sized commercial customers with end-to-end solutions for water dispensers, including installation, technical service and supply of consumables. The company has also become the market leader in Germany as a result of several acquisitions. Today, Aqua Vital maintains more than 60,000 installed units under rental agreements, most of which run over several years. Since Halder's acquisition, sales have more than doubled: in 2017, the business volume was € 38 million, with growth of more than € 40 million expected for the current year.
