The municipality of Möhlin has sold its 50% stake in Wärmeverbund Möhlin AG ("WVM") to the other shareholder, AEW Energie AG ("AEW"), for a price of CHF 1.4 million. WVM has been operating district heating plants under the technical and commercial management of AEW since 1978. Due to new developments and challenges, WVM is facing a strategic change of course. The new sole owner AEW ensures the continued operation and expansion of the plants and thus the supply of existing and future heating customers in Möhlin in the long term.
