Atanas Petkov manages cross-sector national and international buy and sell side M&A mandates for small and medium-sized companies.

Between 2014 and 2018, Atanas advised family-owned companies and financial sponsors on numerous M&A transactions at IMAP. Before rejoining the firm in 2024, Atanas worked at Rödl & Partner M&A Advisory for five years. Prior to joining IMAP, he gained corporate finance experience at various consulting firms.

Atanas holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Munich University of Applied Sciences. In addition, he studied for a semester at the Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland.
