IMAP has advised the shareholder of Zahnen Technik GmbH, a leading specialist in the engineering & construction, optimization and modernization of water and wastewater plants, on the sale of its majority shares to the investment company HBL InvestmentPartners (HBL). HBL together with the management team Peter Wirtz and Benedikt Ney will complete the group of shareholders in the future. Herbert Zahnen, who has developed the company from a simple electrical contractor into a successful solution provider for "clean water", continues to lead the company as Managing Director.
The new partnership focuses on the continuation of the company's successful growth in plant engineering and in particular on the newly established business areas of innovative technologies, software and cloud solutions. The majority shareholder HBL, together with the respective management, has already successfully invested in in the water and wastewater industries. Together with Zahnen Technik GmbH, HBL is counting on continued strong growth, supported by strategic acquisitions.
