IMAP REDBAENK advised the shareholders of KONŠTRUKTA - Tire Tech (KTT) Trenčín, a global supplier of extrusion and cutting machinery for the tire manufacturers, on the sale of their shares to the German company Karl Eugen Fischer (KEF), the world’s leading manufacturer and developer of cutting systems for the tire industry.

KTT designs and manufactures high-performance machinery for component preparation in the production of vehicle tires. The company's extrusion and cutting lines have been installed in more than 70 tire factories in 33 countries. KTT’s facilities are located in Trenčín, Slovakia.

KEF is the world's leading manufacturer of cutting lines. The company is headquartered in Burgkunstadt, Germany, and has distribution and service companies in the US and China. KEF is a portfolio company of funds managed by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG). The acquisition will expand KEF's product portfolio with high-end extrusion lines and both companies will benefit from synergies in customer relations, accelerated growth and consolidation in the cutting line segment.
