With the announcement of its new M&A partner, DealHaus, in Denmark, IMAP furthers cements its already strong foothold in Scandinavia. This is the latest in a string of strategic appointments in response to client and market demand as IMAP continues to expand its global team.
DealHaus is headquartered in Aarhus and Copenhagen in Denmark. Established in 2013, the industry-agnostic team focuses on mid-size deals and draws on some 40 years of accumulated M&A experience, having closed more than 30 transactions in the last five years. The team advises companies across the country, primarily on sell-side transactions. Its core offering is processed advisory services, alongside sales preparations, due diligence preparations, and the coordination of vendor due diligence and similar pre-market vendor reviews of the targets represented.
The M&A landscape in Denmark is showing solid momentum. Overall dealmaking activity in 2023 has remained stable and above pre-COVID levels and while there has been a decrease in domestic transactions, European buyers in particular are showing a growing interest in Danish companies, leading to an increase in inbound transactions, which once again have surpassed domestic transactions. All of which is good news for sellers and buyers alike.
