TMF Enters Fund Administration Market in Brazil With Help of Brasilpar-IMAP Brazil

TMF, a compliance partner for corporates and investors, helps companies navigate the complexities of the world providing financial administration services for funds, capital market services, corporate secretarial services, and the outsourcing of accounting and tax/HR functions.
Present in 90 countries, the Group was looking to expand in Latin America. Brazil, which represents 50% of the PE market in Latin America was a key target for TMF who were looking to enter the fund administration market there.
With experience in M&A, but no experience in this geography or market, TMF were looking for an advisor with specialized experience and relationships with the key players, which they found in Brasilpar-IMAP Brazil. The Brasilpar team helped Rodrigo and the team the perfect strategic partner for growth, Paraty Capital, who had the essential technological strength and growth potential essential for TMF to be able to grow the business.
At the time, Paraty Capital was ranking 15 in the fund administration category in Brazil, but since its acquisition by TMF, has moved to 4th place in the industry rankings, having grown 3-fold in terms of client portfolio and assets under management.
