Herbonis AG was acquired by Innovad, a leader in animal nutrition and health, on 26 April 2023. The acquisition will strengthen Innovad's portfolio of natural feed supplements. The two companies' expertise and capabilities are expected to further grow the product portfolio of plant-based ingredients and nutraceuticals. Herbonis is the developer of the Panbonis product, which contains the plant source of the metabolically active form of Vitamin D. Panbonis is derived from dried and ground Solanum glaucophyllum leaves and is a unique and highly technical product with proven health benefits in poultry, pigs and dairy cattle.
