ASSA ABLOY completed its previously announced acquisition of Vigil Health Solutions.

Based in Canada, Vigil develops and markets a proprietary platform combining software and hardware to provide solutions to the expanding seniors’ housing market. This transaction will result in one of the most comprehensive product offerings in the senior care market, matching Vigil’s technological expertise and industry knowledge with opportunities and resources offered by a multi-national company like ASSA ABLOY.

ASSA ABLOY is the global leader in access solutions, providing benchmark solutions in areas such as efficient door openings, trusted identities and entrance automation. The Company operates worldwide with 48,000 employees and sales of $9 billion.

The IMAP Canada team in Vancouver, led by Andrew Kemper, acted as financial advisor to Vigil on this transaction including the preparation and delivery of a fairness opinion to the Board of Directors of Vigil.
