On June 29th, 2022, Nextalia SGR S.p.A. (“Nextalia”) acquired Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione S.p.A. (“Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione”).

Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione is Intesa Sanpaolo's company focused on training initiatives aimed at the professional growth of Intesa Sanpaolo Group employees, as well as companies and the local area. The training offer includes a catalogue of more than 10,000 digital objects with the delivery in 2021 of about 13 million hours of training.

Nextalia is an independent and institutional investor operating in the Italian market with a specific focus on SMEs. The acquisition was made through DIGIT'ED, a new leader in training and digital learning, which positions itself as an aggregator of the best companies active in the sector, targeting both the business and consumer segments.

The deal aims to enable DIGIT'ED to consolidate its leadership position in Italy in the corporate segment by leveraging Intesa Sanpaolo's innovative learning infrastructure.
