Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A., a world-class player in forestry products industry, acquired the Brazilian industrial operations of Masisa do Brasil Ltda. Masisa do Brasil Ltda is a manufacturer and wholesaler of wood products such as boards, panels and doors, used in the furniture industry and interior architecture, under the brands Ecoplac, Enchapada, Facilplac and HR. It operates 2 industrial plants located in Ponta Grossa and Montenegro. The Company is located in Ponta Grossa, Brazil.

IMAP Colombia has supported Masisa throughout its divestment plan, which as well as this recent sale transaction in Mexico, also included the sale of both its Argentinian industrial operation to EGGER Holzwerkstoffe GmbH for $155 million and its Brazilian industrial operation to Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A. (Arauco) for $103 million, back in 2017.
