IMAP advised Kuehne + Nagel on the sale of its road freight business conducted by its subsidiaries Transeich Armazéns Gerais and Transeich Assessoria.

A competitive process in which more than 70 potential investors were approached was carried out by IMAP. The transaction was closed with BBM Logistica, a portfolio company of Brazilian Private Equity Firm Stratus.

The transaction also included routes between Brazil and Argentina and Uruguay.

BBM Logística, a Stratus’ portfolio company, was founded in 1996 and is based in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná state. The Company operates in the transportation and warehousing segments. From 2014 to 2016, the Company doubled its revenue and tripled its EBITDA.
 

IMAP Germany and IMAP Brazil initiated the transaction on behalf of Kuehne+Nagel and handled it in all its phases.
