Before joining Brasilpar, Sergio worked as senior executive for Solvay Group, continually leveraging results through operational excellence in the chemical, materials, mining, pulp and paper, energy, petrochemicals, distribution, and logistics areas. Strong international experience, with more than 10 years leading businesses in South America, Europe, and the USA, working with multicultural teams in turnaround and restructuring processes.

Extensive strategic knowledge of integrated Value Chain and designing of the post-M&A phase focused on transition and integration of the companies. As a board member of Solvay Group in Argentina, Chile and Brazil, Sergio Zini participated in several M&A decisions. From 2002 to 2015, took part in industry associations, at Executive and Board levels.

Mr. Zini is Mechanical Engineer at IMT, with an MBA from ESPM and has attended executive courses at London Business School (UK) and IMD Business School (Switzerland).
