Advised Optivasys, founded in 2007 and based in Gothenburg, an IT consultancy firm focusing on Qlik software on its sale to Visma, a software consulting and development firm.
The operations of the Visma Group comprise five software business areas, which correspond with Visma's strategic positions in important segments: SMB, Enterprise, Retail, Government and IT & Hosting. Visma is present in 12 countries with a pivot in Northern Europe. The Group, headquartered are in Oslo, Norway, has 7,400 employees and a turnover of around €950 million.
IMAP acted as financial advisor to Optivasys during the sales process. The owner to Optivasys wanted to further accelerate growth and hence focused on finding a buyer that could achieve this growth both in Sweden and abroad.
