Advised Henjo Plåtteknik AB on its sale to Söderbergföretagen AB
Söderbergföretagen, an industrial group with strong subcontractors primarily in plastics and packaging, is increasing its operation by acquiring Henjo Plåtteknik in Ljungby. Henjo Plåtteknik has sales of SEK 110 million and is a subcontractor of ready-made plastic parts and components for packaging and contract machines, and the truck industry in the Nordic region. The acquisition means that Söderbergföretagen will be broadening its operation with the inclusion of a new business area, sheet metal parts and components. After the acquisition, Söderbergföretagen will have sales of SEK 570 million and employ 290 people.
"One other reason why we are increasing our industrial group is that Henjo is a profitable and well-managed family business. We are now strengthening our shared experience of being subcontractors to Nordic industry. By bringing our strategic and business knowledge, Henjo's can be developed even further", says Jan Söderberg, CEO of Söderbergföretagen.
Henjo Plåtteknik - industry leader within plastics technology - has been primarily active in sheet metal technology with production in Ljungby since 1945. The company has been very successful in investing in automation and new technology like laser cutting and powder coating, which resulted in a positive sales development for the company. By owning the whole manufacturing chain, Henjo can manage its own production and in this way increase reliability of delivery.
