Trailer Dynamics GmbH, a technology innovator for eTrailers, has expanded its shareholder base by adding Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT) as part of a capital increase. Trane Technologies, a leader in sustainable transport temperature control solutions and its brand Thermo King, has become a strategic minority investor and cooperation partner of Trailer Dynamics, alongside German trailer manufacturer Krone. The alliance will drive innovations that enhance efficiency and accelerate the transition to zero-emission transportation in Europe and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Trailer Dynamics has developed a unique solution for integrating an additional electric drive train into the eTrailer. The eTrailer offers supporting propulsion that, in combination with conventional tractor units with internal combustion engines, enables a significant reduction in diesel consumption and CO² emissions. When combined with an electrically powered tractor unit, it increases range and is capable of operating electrified or conventional trailer refrigeration units (TRUs).
