Urs is a deeply rooted entrepreneur with extensive experience in corporate finance and technology-related businesses. As a Partner at The Corporate Finance Group, he has closed over 60 mid-market transactions, specializing in sell- and buy-side deals in the TMT industries. He has strong connections with founders and executives of Swiss IT companies and many IT-driven startups, and teaches M&A at incubator programs.

Previously, Urs was a Structured Finance advisor at Credit Suisse, where he led several data-driven projects and was leading M&A as well as private equity transactions for the bank.  He has a solid background in corporate finance, transaction execution, and negotiations.

He was further co-founder of several software startups and is on the board of a B2B SaaS provider for permanent data rooms with features embedding blockchain technology for data validation purposes.

Urs holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a joint degree in Computer Science and Business from the University of Zurich.
