After realizing an impressive growth path to become a leading independent certification company in the Netherlands, this sales process capitalizes on the unique market position of NCI Certificering and supports the company in the next phase of its growth journey. Through a strong strategic and cultural fit, the acquisition of NCI Certificering is expected to play an important role in the continued development of Normec’s position in the certification market.

Normec Group is an organization primarily active in North-Western Europe in the field of testing, inspection, certification and compliance (‘TICC’), with a focus on healthcare, sustainability, food and life safety markets. Certification activities are a core element of Normec’s service offering and carried out mainly in the Netherlands, Germany and France. Backed by private equity firm Astorg, Normec is executing an active buy and build strategy, having completed numerous acquisitions recently, with the aim of creating a leading player in the European TICC sector. Through a combination of successful acquisitions and strong organic growth, Normec is now a group of approximately 5,000 people.

NCI Certificering, founded in 2002, is an Dutch certification company, performing audits and granting management-based certifications. Activities include quality checks, workplace safety checks, data security checks and auditing of a company's environmental achievements.NCI Certificering is mainly active in the Benelux and Germany, carrying out audits in various sectors, including Construction, Rail, Business Services, Energy, Offshore, Engineering. Since its inception, the company has awarded over 8,000 certifications, serving a loyal client base by performing transparent audits with high client intimacy and a personal character.
