Thunderbird Marine Corp. is the largest and oldest marina operator in British Columbia.The family run business developed, expanded and operated Thunderbird Marina in West Vancouver and Westport Marina in Sidney, BC for three generations. Combined, both marinas have over 1,100 boat slips, accommodating powerboats and sailboats up to 80 feet, sizeable commercial boat yards, and a successful yacht brokerage division.
Prospero International is an integrated real estate management and development company headquartered in Vancouver. Led by its current president, Derek Lee, Prospero partnered with two other local investors to complete the acquisition.
