IMAP REDBAENK is pleased to announce the acquisition agreement, wherein MAM Private Equity acquired a majority interest in COMGUARD, a leading Czech value-added distributor of IT security solutions.

With over 18 years of successful operations in the Czech and Slovak markets, COMGUARD has emerged as a leading value-added distributor of IT security solutions delivering additional services such as penetration tests, installation and configuration, remote management of the customer's security solution, risk analysis, security policy, SOC, or ThreatGuard (in-house developed virtual security analyst service). The Company serves an impressive portfolio of customers including major Czech and Slovak financial institutions, manufacturing companies or government institutions.

The acquisition of COMGUARD became the third successful acquisition of the MAM Private Equity fund, which, in addition to the newly acquired COMGUARD, owns the telecommunications suppliers Raycom and Telco VNT.

The IMAP REDBAENK (Czech Republic) team, led by Michal Misun, Radek Schmied and Petr Svarc, provided comprehensive advisory services throughout the sale process. IMAP REDBAENK has now successfully assisted the sale of COMGUARD for the second time, the first time standing by the seller's side in 2013.
