IMAP is pleased to announce that Wireless Services, a leading developer of an SMS platform, as well as the omnichannel communications platform Eazy, has been acquired by Spotler Group.

Wireless Services was founded in 1998 by Marcel Lindenbergh and Bas Jochems. The company’s first project was the development of an SMS platform enabling businesses to easily send SMS messages by API gateways and Wireless Services’ own portal. In 2014, witnessing the rise of social media communication, it began development of the omnichannel communications platform Eazy. Since its launch, the platform has grown rapidly and now serves a broad range of blue-chip clients. The Eazy platform enables businesses to chat with their customers via different social media channels all using just one convenient dashboard.

Spotler Group – backed by private equity firm CNBB – is a developer of digital marketing and communications solutions that simplify the complexity of multi-channel marketing, sales and customer service. It supports over 4,000 customers with 18 billion messages per year. The group aims to become a one-stop-shop in the digital marketing and communications segment and comprise the following brands: Spotler, Flowmailer, OBI4wan, Squeezely, and Tripolis. Spotler Group employs over 300 employees and operates from four offices across Europe.

The market is witnessing an ongoing consolidation and large players are focusing on becoming a one-stop-shop for their customers. With the acquisition of Wireless Services, and specifically the Eazy platform, Spotler Group adds an easy-to-use omnichannel communication platform to its product portfolio. Together, Spotler Group and Eazy position themselves as an omnichannel, data-driven marketing communication software provider for every SME.

The sales process was initiated because the shareholders were also witnessing the rapid consolidation in the market. Founders Marcel Lindenbergh and Bas Jochems were looking for a strong strategic partner to secure the strong position of Wireless Services and continue the initiated growth path of omnichannel communications platform Eazy.
