Telewizja Polsat Sp z o o, a unit of Cyfrowy Polsat SA, agreed to acquire Grupa Interia.pl Sp z o o Spk (Interia), a Krakow-based internet portal operator, from Bauer Media Invest GmbH (Bauer Media), owned by Bauer Media KG, for a total PLN 422 mil (USD 101.056 mil). Originally, in December 2019, Bauer Media, was rumored to be seeking a buyer for its Interia unit. Agora SA and Wirtualna Polska Holding SA were rumored to be potential bidders.
