IMAP Netherlands is pleased to announce that Repair Care, a leading supplier and developer of superior sustainable (bio) products for wood repair has been acquired by Bolton Adhesives, a global supplier of gluing, bonding, and sealing products.
The shareholders of Repair Careinitiated a sales process to ensure the long-term continuity of the company and to find a partner to accelerate future growth both nationally as well as internationally. This partner was found in Bolton Adhesives as the Repair Care brand, product range, business model and customer base are a valuable extension to the existing capabilities of Bolton Adhesives, enabling tangible (commercial) synergies between Repair Care and the other Bolton Adhesives’ brands.
The combination of Repair Care and Bolton Adhesives will enhance the development of international prospects of the Repair Care and Eazy Fix brands whilst accelerating the BoltonAdhesives business in the UK. Repair Care will remain operating on a stand-alone basis while benefitting from Bolton Adhesives’ existing distribution network and commercial and innovation capabilities.

Repair Care specializes in supplying and developing high-quality, sustainable (bio) wood repair and maintenance products for both professional and consumer markets. The professional market is serviced by the Repair Care brand through paint stores and hardware and timber merchants, while the consumer market is serviced by the Eazy Fix brand sold through online retailers and DIY stores. In addition to its product offerings, Repair Care provides professional training courses and value-added on-site services. Its repair products, based on a proprietary formula designed to restore decayed and damaged wood, are complemented by a comprehensive range of tools and accessories.
