Venkatesh is a partner and Director with the firm since 2016. His work focus is on strategic and financial solutions for corporates or their owners undergoing financial stress across industry verticals. Venkatesh leads a team which works closely with owners and managers at corporates undergoing financial stress and engages with institutional liquidity & distress finance providers across the globe, banks & financial institutions in India and the legal/accounting  firms to ideate, originate and execute strategic & sustainable financial solutions for corporates undergoing debt distress, liquidity trap or equity underperformance.

Formerly, Venkatesh was with Motilal Oswal (2014-16) where he successfully developed high-yield debt syndication business and also built a team to provide comprehensive debt restructuring service to ailing corporates. Prior to this, he has worked with Ernst & Young (2010- 2012) and SBI Capital Markets (2008 – 2010) as a member of execution team in debt restructuring and project finance respectively. Venkatesh started his career with IFCI Ltd in 2002 as part of Project Finance team followed by a stint with Credit Analysis & Research Ltd (CARE) as part of their Corporate Advisory team.

Venkatesh holds a MBA from Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirapalli. He is also a Cost Accountant.
