Gilberto is Managing Partner at Serficor Partners (IMAP Mexico) and is a Financial Advisor with over 25 years of experience in buying and selling companies, financing of infrastructure projects, as well as in private equity placements and debt restructuring. In the early 1990's he worked at Booz Allen & Hamilton in Mexico, where he gained experience in the valuation and privatization of 9 of the 18 Mexican banks.
He is currently Professor at Universidad Anahuac’s School of Economics and Business and participates in several Management Boards, including he Global Advisory Board of the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, Ticsa (an EPM company), Adobe Capital, Anahuac University MBA, and Endeavor.
Since the onset of his career, Gilberto has focused on helping business owners and managers achieve their strategic objectives through advisory in diverse corporate finance areas. He has been involved in buy and sell mandates for over 50 companies, in the financing of infrastructure projects in energy, toll roads and petrochemicals areas, as well as in private equity placements and debt restructuring.
Gilberto is a graduate of the School of Economics, Universidad Anahuac and also holds an MBA in Finance and Business Economics from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), from the Exit Planning Institute.
