Through the ve been acquired by Ership Grupo (‘Ership’) and Aug. Bolten Wm. Miller’s Nachfolger (acquisition of Maja; Ership, Aug Bolten and Nova Marine enter the Port of Amsterdam and ensure the continuity of the business.
The acquisition aligns with Ership’s and Aug. Bolten’s strategy to expand their logistics and transshipment operations in Northern Europe. By acquiring Maja, Ership strengthens its foothold in the Dutch market, aligned with its international expansion strategy. Aug. Bolten benefits from Maja’s established operations, further reinforcing its growth in the dry bulk sector.
Ership is a group of logistics service providers and is among the top 10 largest port service providers in Spain, operating in more than 40 ports in Iberia, America, Africa and Asia. The company specialises in port operations, bulk handling, and maritime logistics services. Aug. Bolten, one of Germany’s oldest shipping companies, operates a fleet of more than a hundred Handy-Size bulk carriers and belt self-unloading vessels with its Swiss partner, Nova Marine.
Maja Stuwadoors is a key player in the Dutch transshipment industry, providing stevedoring, cargo handling, and warehousing solutions across various commodities, including scrap metal, minerals, and other cargo. With strategic locations in key Dutch ports, Maja offers efficient and customised solutions to its clients, leveraging advanced infrastructure and decades of industry expertise.
