Generac Holdings, a global leader in the design and manufacture of power products, has acquired Neurio Technology. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Neurio Technology, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a leader in energy data, focused on metering technologies and sophisticated analytics that optimize energy use within the home or business. Neurio's hardware and software solutions equip users with the intelligence to control and manage electrical loads, solar systems and batteries in order to optimize energy consumption and increase savings.

Founded in 1959, Generac manufactures the widest range of power products in the marketplace, including portable, residential, commercial and industrial generators. Neurio’s advanced technologies will be incorporated into Generac’s product platform, strengthening their home energy management capabilities.

The IMAP Canada team, led by Doug Irwin, acted as sole financial to Neurio.
