Sandy's career began in the investment banking business in 2007 with Blair Franklin Capital Partners in Toronto. In his role as an analyst/associate Sandy spent six years supporting the senior members of the firm on a variety of public and private M&A, valuations/fairness opinions, and project finance advisory services mandates across a wide range of sectors. 

Subsequently, he spent four years in senior corporate development roles within the waste management sector: First, with Progressive Waste Solutions leading to its sale to Waste Connections; and second, with GFL Environmental. 

Most recently, Sandy spent three years with Peerage Capital, a Toronto-based family office, in a finance / corporate development role.
