Sam Hill, Managing Director, brings to Capstone Partners more than 25 years of experience across multiple industries within investment and corporate banking. He complements Capstone Partners’ efforts in energy services, industrials, manufacturing, and business services.

Sam joined Capstone Partners from Barrier Advisors, a middle market boutique investment bank in Texas. Previously, he was a Managing Director and the Regional Manager for Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (formerly Credit Lyonnais CIB). He managed the Diversified Industries Group for the southern and southeastern U.S. along with the national coverage effort for Building Materials and the Homebuilding and Mortgage Finance Division of the Real Estate Group. His previous experience included BNP Paribas and RepublicBank Dallas (now Bank of America).

Sam has an extensive track record of working with middle market firms to structure, advise and create successful investment transactions. His expertise includes complex structured finance and leveraged finance transactions. He has broad relationships with debt capital sources, private equity, and family offices.

Sam holds a BS in Applied Economics and Finance, along with an MBA in Economics and Finance, from Texas Tech University.
