Rumbidzai joined Verdant Capital in September 2020.  Before joining Verdant Capital, Rumbidzai worked at Nhendo Investments as an intern and at the University of Johannesburg as a research assistant.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2014 at Monash University South Africa and a BCom Hons in Economics at the University of Johannesburg in 2016. She also holds a Master of Commerce in Financial Economics from the University of Johannesburg, which she obtained in 2019.
