IMAP is pleased to announce that Swedish industrial group Volati has acquired Apisa, a market-leading supplier of solutions for drying and storage of grain, feed and biomass in Spain.
Headquartered in Huesca, Spain, Apisa is an entrepreneurial company with approximately 50 employees. A market-leading supplier in its niche, both in Spain and other selected markets including Latin America, it has a broad product portfolio covering the grain, feed and biomass management segments. The company recorded sales of approximately €15 million during the most recent financial year.
The acquisition is a strong addition to Volati’s industry business, particularly its Tornum business unit, which in recent years has developed into a leading global supplier for the agricultural and grain handling industries. By acquiring Apisa, it strengthens Tornum's offering in grain and feed handling, as well as the company’s market position in Europe, where Spain is one of the largest markets for grain handling.
The team from IMAP Spain, led by Fernando Cabos and Pablo Gomez, advised Apisa on the sale process with cross-border support in Sweden from the IMAP Sweden team.
