IMAP is pleased to announce that Bellis Egészsétár bought 100% of the ownership of Patella Gyógyászati Segédözök.
Patella Medical Aids is considered a market leader among wholesalers of medical aids and medical devices with a complete product range. It distributes nearly 9,000 aids, delivers to more than 400 specialty stores, nearly 800 pharmacies and 200 other stores. The Company was established in 2022 by the spin-off of the wholesale business of Patella-96 Kft. The production and import activities remaining in Patella-96 will be continued by the selling owners, in addition to maintaining the commercial relationship with the Company.
The goal of Bellis Egészségtár, a subsidiary of Hungaropharma, is to sell high-volume pharmaceutical products, dietary supplements, vitamins, and through the cost-effective pharmacy service of Phytotheca products, offering a service portfolio that fills a gap in the Hungarian pharmacy market. Bellis mainly focuses on the sale of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, preparations used for prevention and health maintenance at competitive prices, which is based on stable and efficient distribution logistics. The backbone of the product portfolio is provided by approximately 7,500 dietary supplements, vitamins, and other health products, in addition to which there are nearly 2,000 popular medicines in its range.
By continuing its conscious strategy of expanding its portfolio of non-pharmaceutical products, Bellis achieved a very significant product expansion with the purchase of Patella Gyógyászati ??Segédözök Kft., on the one hand - primarily in the field of medical devices, medical aids, orthopedic devices and home care products - and on the other hand, it became a dominant player in a new market segment thus further increasing its competence in providing the widest possible range of patient services.
