Indra has over 9 years of corporate finance experience in the Healthcare and TMT sectors and has lived and worked in London, Tbilisi and Mumbai. He specialises in mid-market M&A transactions and has worked with a number of leading corporate finance firms in the UK. He has collaborated with major public listed companies, private equity funds and owner-managed businesses, and advised on domestic and cross-border transactions including buy-side and sell-side M&A and licensing deals.
Indra began his career with a major dual listed investment bank in Mumbai, India, and since then gained both operational and transaction experience as an in-house Corp Dev executive and as an independent M&A advisor. He managed in-house transactions for Nortons/Barings PE backed Vistra, and helped a major UK family office to acquire and operate a state-owned oil and gas field in the Republic of Georgia.
Indra holds a PhD and an MSc in Finance from the Henley Business School and was awarded the Academic Achievement Award by the University of Reading. His research on M&A, value creation and experiential learning has been presented at various international conferences, such as the EFMA conference, and published in the European Journal of Finance. He has also acted as a Lecturer in Finance and the Programme Co-Director of MSc Finance programme at the Henley Business School.
