The Swiss financial investor INVISION has acquired a majority stake in the Reisenthel Group, a German manufacturer of functional bags and everyday aids, as part of a succession solution. The company's cult product, the carrybag, a synthetic shopping basket with an aluminium handle, sold millions of units. The Reisenthel family will continue to hold an interest in the company.

The company offers a range of more than 100 products in various creative designs in the categories Shopping, Travel, Cosmetics, Living and kids. Founded in 1971, Reisenthel employs around 80 people at its headquarters in Gilching by Munich.
